Bergstrom Inc. announces acquisition of Modine Manufacturing Company’s vehicular HVAC product business
Rockford, Illinois (March 5, 2010) – Bergstrom Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, today announced the acquisition of Modine Manufacturing Company’s vehicular HVAC products business in North America. The subsidiary serves off-highway vehicles, trucks and school buses, specifically major commercial vehicle OEMs.
This acquisition represents a significant growth in Bergstrom’s production and manufacturing capabilities of HVAC products for off-highway vehicles, trucks and school buses.

Bergstrom is currently in the process of moving physical assets to its company headquarters in Rockford, Ill. The move will continue for a number of weeks to ensure a seamless assimilation into the existing facility.
